you need a license to work in any salon in ANY state. also if you want to do extensions with hot fusion of any sort you need a special extension license. theres a pro word for it but i cant think of it. good luck 1000 hours in NY 800 in any other state

Yes. Anywhere, at any Salon, You need a License, Or else you and the Salon/owner will get fined.
